The District of West Kelowna is currently developing its first Cultural Plan and community input has been an important part of the planning process.
The Cultural Plan will be a guiding document for fostering, creating and implementing cultural development in the District of West Kelowna. The strategic document will provide future direction, a vision statement, policies, priorities and actions for the District of West Kelowna. The plan will include an events and festivals strategy. The document will guide and shape West Kelowna's cultural priorities for the next 10 years.
YOUR INPUT IS IMPORTANT
The plan is being developed through extensive community consultation. West Kelowna provided three ways in which the community could participate in the plan's development. Thank you for your input:
- The survey closed December 10, 2012.
The contest closed December 10, 2012.
