Options in priority order are 2, 4 and 6.
Update Water Master Plan in 5 years and re-confirm water treatment alternatives.
Begin implementation in 2014.
Option selection should not adversely impact agriculture.
Council is expected to make a decision on the water system investment plan in early 2014.
The Water Master Plan Steering Committee met several times to discuss options to meet the municipality’s current and future water infrastructure needs.

ABOUT THE COMMITTEE
The Water Master Plan Public Outreach Steering Committee was created May 28, 2013 and consisted of members of the community with a strong interest in the District of West Kelowna's development of a Water Master Plan.
The Committee acted as a review panel to advise District staff and its consultant on the draft Water Master Plan, and provided recommendations to West Kelowna Council on this key document.
