New recycling items are being accepted as of May 19, 2014. Some items go in the blue bin, some items must go to recycling depots:
Recycling and yard waste collection are provided on an alternating, biweekly basis. Yard waste is not collected after November 30 or before March 1.
The District of West Kelowna contracts OK Environmental Waste Systems to provide curbside service under the Automated Collection System.

WASTE TRANSFER STATION
Additional accepted materials - garbage, recycling and yard waste - may be taken to the Westside Residential Waste Disposal and Recycling Centre on Asquith Road. Please note, this centre is operated by the Regional District of Central Okanagan on behalf of residents living in the region on the west side of Okanagan Lake. For more information please go to:
