The Parks, Fleet and Cemetery Department is responsible for managing more than 125 parks and trails, covering an area of more than 120 hectares.

  • Parks planning assistance
  • Playground safety and installation
  • Sports field maintenance
  • Signage construction and installation
  • Urban forestry (pine beetle management)
  • Waterfront park construction

The provision of parks and open spaces is an important component of living in the District of West Kelowna.  Green space contributes to essential environmental, aesthetic, and recreational values to our municipality, including physical activity and personal enjoyment, enhancing property values, and attracting tourists and new residents to the community.
