Administrative and Protective Services' objectives are to keep Council connected to its constituents and to inform the community about the District's programs, projects, and services.
Staff provide support to Council, to present their work decisions in an open, accessible, accountable and professional manner to those who do business in West Kelowna and to those who call the municipality home.
Administering meetings and official functions of Council and committees
Facilitating Freedom of Information requests
Administering oaths, affirmations, affidavits and declarations on the municipality's behalf
Conducting elections of Mayor and Council and any referenda or opinion polls for the District of West Kelowna.
Communications serves as an information conduit between Council and the public, articulating the Strategic Priorities and Operational Plan and programs, projects and services that are rolled out to meet the plan's goals and objectives each year.
