West Kelowna Municipal Hall is approximately 12,500 square feet, and is centrally located in the Mount Boucherie Community Centre at 2760 Cameron Road, West Kelowna, BC V1Z 2T6.
The building is situated at the northern base of the landmark, Mount Boucherie, between School District 23’s Mount Boucherie Secondary School and the District of West Kelowna’s Jim Lind Arena and Royal LePage Place.
The facility houses Council Chambers, the Mayor's Office, the offices of the Chief Administrative Officer and the Senior Management Team, and the majority of the administrative offices of the municipality. Two satellite offices are located on Bartley Road and Elliott Road. For all District of West Kelowna business, please go to Municipal Hall.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT LOCATION
In 2008, Council asked staff to conduct a study to determine best possible locations for administrative offices to serve the new municipality (incorporated December 6, 2007). Staff provided several options to Council, including the possibility of temporarily renting commercial space. After deliberating upon the choices, Council directed staff to convert the centrally located Mount Boucherie Community Hall into municipal offices.
For approximately, $1.2 million, staff was able to hire an architect to design Municipal Hall and select a contractor to complete the renovations. The move would give the new municipality an affordable means of housing Mayor and Council and staff, and providing services to the public. The decision would also provide time to the District of West Kelowna to build reserves to construct a permanent facility in the future. At present, the District of West Kelowna plans to continue to use the existing Municipal Hall for up to 10 years, and build reserves over that time to eventually construct a permanent facility, subject to considerations by a future Council.
MOUNT BOUCHERIE COMMUNITY HALL
In order to ensure continued availability of community meeting space, Council directed staff to purchase a portable specifically to accommodate public gatherings. The District of West Kelowna Community Portable is located across from Municipal Hall, Jim Lind Arena and Royal LePage Place at the far west end of the community centre’s parking lot.
Council has also directed staff to set aside reserves so that when a permanent Municipal Hall is built, the existing administrative offices can be converted back to the Mount Boucherie Community Hall.

Travelling South from Kelowna: Take Hwy. 97S across Bennett Bridge; turn left at Ross Rd.; travel approximately 1km; turn left on Hewl Rd. Municipal Hall, arena and parking are located at the end of the road.
Travelling North from Peachland: Take Hwy. 97N; turn right at Bartley Rd.; turn left on Ross Rd.; turn right on Hewl. Municipal Hall, arena and parking are located at the end of the road.
