The park opened to rave reviews at the beginning of September 2011. The park opened for its first full season in May 2012.

The District of West Kelowna partnered with dedicated community groups to construct the new family friendly facility in Westbank Centre Park:

  • Okanagan Kids Care
  • Rotary Club of Westbank
  • Rotary Club of West Kelowna Daybreak
  • Westbank First Nation

The project would not have been possible without the efforts of the Rotary Club of Westbank, which spearheaded a variety of fund raising initiatives to make the dream of West Kelowna's first children's spray park a reality.
