The summer roads maintenance program in the District of West Kelowna is contracted out to AEL, a division of HMC Services Inc.
Summer maintenance services include:

Cleaning of debris, graffiti and litter on and around roads

Summer roads maintenance involves routine repair and cleaning. It is accounted for in the District of West Kelowna's annual operating budget and is therefore separate from the District of West Kelowna's ongoing efforts to improve local roadways through major capital/infrastructure upgrade projects, which are part of Council's annual budget deliberations, such as:
